Background 

Mr. Sarkar is a Research Assistant in the College of Nanotechnology, Science and Engineering, University at Albany, pursuing a Ph.D. in Nanobioscience. He has professional experience in upstream bioprocess engineering R&D from Biocon Biologics Inc., India, where he received training in mammalian cell culture for producing monoclonal antibodies and analyzing amino acids. He is involved in optimizing the controlled release of growth factors from alginate hydrogel microtubes, ELISA, thawing and passaging mouse fibroblast cells, wound healing analysis, and imaging using an EVOS microscope. Mr. Sarkar is highly focused on applying his expertise and knowledge to advance biopharmaceutical research and application.
