Ph.D. Candidate
Education
Bachelor and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Catholic University of America, Washington, DC
Background
Elijah Feret is currently a Ph.D. student in nanobioscience at the University of Albany. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from the Catholic University of America, where his research was focused on the effects of bioprinting processes on hydrogel mechanics. Currently, he is developing chemical and physical biosensors for noninvasive interfacing with tissue engineered constructs and in vitro physiological systems. Elijah hopes that his research will be a step towards creating reliable models of human tissue for drug testing.
