Background

Ledina received her B.S degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in 2025 and then joined the Nanoscale Engineering PhD program at UAlbany. She has previously conducted research in the field of hydrogels and biomaterials, green hydrogen and ammonia synthesis in industry and biocosmetics. Her research focuses on developing scalable microelectrode arrays for brain organoids electrophysiological studies. Ledina hopes she can use these devices to study neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and drug testing.
